FAIR

Sunday, January 31, 2010
GUYS. Our Fair is going to be held on Feb 12-13. :> Theme is Rock. :D

Things are a little different this year because we have to AUCTION for our booths. We can't just pick whatever we like. We have to put down some cash and the sections (partners, ours is Sodium) who pay up the most win the booth.

BRING MONEY TOMORROW. THE AUCTION IS TOMORROW.

Our choices are the following (listed together with their starting prices):

Tie Me Up (75) - find random people and link with rope for extended periods of time
Marriage (100) - 'til death do them part.
Truth or Dare (75) - people can pay us to interrogate other people
Nerf (100) - you know those water guns/guns with darts? basta like that. may shooting range and people can Nerf war with each other
Video Game Booths 1 and 2 (100 each) - one booth just for Guitar Hero and Rockband; the second one for everything else

Love Booth (75) - sell flowers, chocolate, write letters, deliver messages
Karaoke (75) - sing your heart out
Movie (100) - the movies shown must have Rock themes (school of rock, etc)
Painting (50) - little white ceramic figures for design and well, painting
Salon (50) - color people's hair, face paint, etc
Graffiti (50) - have a wall set up for tasteful vandalism

Assassination (75) - get paid to destroy people
Dress Up (75) - put people in ballerina tutus, gowns, and clowns outfits
Dedication (100) - play songs for people
Twister (50) - board games

Sadly, the jail booth is only available to fourth years. >_< We have to provide all the equipment for whatever booth we end up with, but we get 50% of the profits the booth makes. That is a lot, people.

Please please bring cash tomorrow. I will explain more during Homeroom. The auction is at the Chem room, dismissal time. There is a chance i won't be there, so either Dom or Chari stick around to fight for our rights :>

Also, aside from booths, we have other activities:

Fair Pair - the usual. Nominate loveteams, winners get a dinner date.
Drag Show - find the manliest man in your class and put him in a dress. Talent portion, question and answer portion. No, no swimsuit.
Dating - one guy/girl from each batch is chosen, and then every girl/guy in the batch must compete to become his or her date. Like pera or bayong style, then essay :))
Battle of the Bands - auditions until Friday.

I guess that covers it for now. More during HR tomorrow.

November 26, 2009

Dear Students, Parents, Teachers and Staff,
The father of a 2nd year student was shot and killed last Saturday evening. Mr. Eladio P. Tiglao, father of Angelica (II-Jasmin) was a taxi driver working that Saturday evening. Police found him lying dead with two gunshot wounds on a road in Cavite. His remains now lie in state at St. Peter’s Memorial Chapel along Quezon Avenue.

Mr. Tiglao was the sole breadwinner in the family. He left behind five children (2 are in high school and 3 are in grade school – all public schools). The family is in dire need of help.

We in the Student Alliance would like to request the PSHS community for assistance to the family. As in the past, let us pool our efforts once again to help those in great need.

For any financial help, kindly give it to the following Batch Advisers (who will issue Student Alliance receipts):

1st year – Ms. Liz Sagucio
2nd year – Mrs. Herminigilda Salac
3rd year – Ms. Ana Chupungco
4th year – Ms. Rose Butaran

They will be accepting donations in behalf of the SA from November 27 – December 4, 2009. Check donations can be deposited to the following account:

Name of Bank and Branch: BPI Timog-Circle Branch
Panay Avenue, Quezon City

Account Name: Student Alliance

ENTRY GUIDELINES

Sunday, July 19, 2009
Dear Parents and Students,

Please see the attached memorandum below on the Revised Rules of Entry to the PSHS Main Campus and Guidelines Re:A(H1N1). A REPLY SLIP needs to be signed by both the student and parent/guardian, upon return to school on July 27. An e-copy of document is attached herewith.

As precautionary measures against the Influenza A H1N1 virus, the following rules and guidelines shall be implemented effective July 18, 2009:
1. Don’t come to school if you are sick.
All school officials, students, employees, parents and visitors (everyone) shall submit themselves to the thermometer scan upon entry at the main gate and again at the entrance of the residence halls (for dormers and their 2 companions).
2. Those with fever and other ILI symptoms shall not be allowed inside the campus.
The school has only a one-bed clinic and has no capacity to deal with a large number of sick students.
3. Check-in time for dormers shall be at 2:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday only, to decongest the traffic at the gate early Monday.
4. Only a maximum of 2 companions for dormers shall be allowed inside the campus.
5. Parents waiting for their children are discouraged from mingling with students at the front lobby. Please fetch your children at about their dismissal time.
6. Students who develop ILI symptoms while inside the campus should immediately consult Dr. Corazon Batoon, school physician at the clinic. Your parents will be called to bring you home. Teachers and students should help see to it that anyone with ILI symptoms is brought to the clinic.
7. Students who are sick and who voluntarily stay at home shall be accorded utmost consideration by their teachers and are entitled to make-up for missed exams and requirements. However, they must present an excuse slip and be subject to the school physician’s examination.
8. Students who persist in coming to school even if they are sick shall be sent home and shall lose their right to make-up for missed exams and requirements.
9. Bring your hygiene kit everyday. It will be checked by your homeroom and subject teachers before the start of each class. The hygiene kit should contain: soap, alcohol, sanitizer, tissue and masks.
10. Wear your mask everyday and dispose of it properly.

FOR STRICT COMPLIANCE.
(sgd) DR. HELEN E. CAINTIC
CAMPUS DIRECTOR

Hello everyone! Ma'am Kiel here :-)

Due to the frequent suspension of classes, I decided to put up an online M4 lounge for Li, Rb and Sr ‘11. I will update this site with concerns regarding our M4 class and with (possibly) advanced readings and exercises for our next few topics.

Do check out 2011isprime.wordpress.com from time to time. Will also update our blog whenever wordpress is updated :-) Thanks and have a great day!

003 - NOCLASSES!

Tuesday, June 23, 2009
Hello, Strontium!

WALANG PASOK

BUKAS.

Or like ngayon, kasi 15 minutes later, midnight na. :|

If you were watching the news last night, or maybe tomorrow morning, Pag-asa declared the suspension of classes of both elementary and highschool in Metro Manila.

Kung DepEd sana, may lusot pa tayo kasi hindi tayo under ng DepEd, DOST tayo. D:
Pero Pag-asa eh, so kasama talaga tayo. *tears*

OKAY. Malungkot ako, pero kayo siguro masaya. :))

AUPIZERS. :D You can log-in and post you know...
